39.5.11 Inputs Swapping

The analog comparator output can be blanked using a blanking source input from the event system, including choosing the blanking window (delay and size) in addition to enabling blanking. The Comparator blanking window will always be delayed up to a maximum of 3 clocks (sync flops) from the rising of the event input to the comparator. The Blanking Window then can be Delayed by the amount of cycles in the Register 1-17: CMPBWINDLY0k - Comparator 0 output blanking WINDOW DELAY Register and the blanking window size is defined by Register 1-16: CMPBWIN0k - Comparator 0 output blanking WINDOW Register. These two registers allow for the Blanking Window to be adjusted by the user to their specific needs by n cycles of the defined GCLK.

If another blanking event comes before blanking window expires, then that event will be ignored. The blanking source is basically ANDed (see Figure 2-9: "Comparator Output Signal Blanking Example" ) with the comparator output, resulting in a final comparator output which then can be filtered or not based on the filter enable.
