30.3.2.2 Input Hysteresis

Applying an input hysteresis helps prevent constant toggling of the output when the noise-afflicted input signals are close to each other.

The hysteresis is configured by writing to the Hysteresis Mode Select (HYSMODE) bit field in the Control A (ACn.CTRLA) register. For details about typical values of hysteresis levels, refer to the Electrical Characteristics section.

The hysteresis has no effect when operating in Sampled or Event Triggered mode.
