4.5 Check if the NAND Flash device Chip Select (CS) is asserted

The Chip Select signal is controlled by the SAM9X60/SAM9X7 embedded Static Memory Controller (SMC). Every time a command is sent to the device, this signal is set to a low logical level. Scope this signal to validate if this is happening. If it is not the case, check the hardware interfacing, referring to the SAM9X60-Curiosity or SAM9X75-Curiosity user’s guide (see Reference Documents).
