To simultaneously capture packets from several hardware interfaces or devices, the user needs to choose the hardware interfaces on the capture screen, then initiate the packet-capture process.Figure 5-2. Multiple Hardware Connections
The collected data includes the interface identifier, which Wireshark utilizes to recognize the
capture interface (referred to as frame interface_id), as well as the hardware
identifier for the board that operates the Microchip firmware (known as the board).
Note: If the “Interface id” or “Board” column is not visible, then,
from the package detail section, right click on “Interface id” and select Apply as
Column. Do the same for “Board”.
