4.2 Primary to Secondary Phase Offset Timing
Secondary rectifier edge timing can have an offset from the primary to optimize the performance of the converter. In the code example provided in the Appendix, macros SYNC_DIFF_RISE and SYNC_DIFF_FALL can be used to adjust rising edge phase offsets and shorten the duty cycle (falling edge) of the SR. In a final application, this could be replaced with variables to adjust the on-time of the SR in real-time. Typically, the rising edge delay is fixed for a given application. PG2/PG6 from the primary PWM peripheral are used along with APWMs for the drive signals of the six SRs.
