12.10.6 Changing the Maximum PCIe Data Rate Settings

The Maximum PCIe Data Rate displays the maximum PCIe data rate between the controller and the drives connected to the connector. This setting allows to change the maximum PCIe data rate of the connector on Adaptec Smart Storage Controller. The supported values are PCIe 3.0, PCIe 4.0, and PCIe 5.0.
Note: The maximum PCIe data rate will be displayed only if it is supported by the controller. A reboot is required for the new maximum PCIe data rate to take effect.
To change the Maximum PCIe Data Rate settings:
  1. In the Enterprise View, select a controller.
  2. On the ribbon, in the Controller group, click Set Properties.

    The Set Properties window opens.

  3. Click the Maximum PCIe Data Rate on the Connector tab. Set the maximum PCIe data rate setting for each of connector to PCIe 3.0, PCIe 4.0 or PCIe 5.0 from the drop-down list. To change the maximum PCIe data rate setting for all connectors, select the desired maximum PCIe data rate from the All Connectors drop-down list.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Reboot the server.
