4.1.1.1 Free License (Silver)

To obtain the free license (Silver), perform the following steps:
  1. Sign in to microchipDIRECT.
  2. Go to the License page at www.microchipdirect.com/fpga-software-products.
    The FPGA Software and IP Core Products page appears.
  3. For a new license, select Request Free License.
  4. To obtain either the Libero Silver Floating license or the Node-locked license, in the Register column, select Register.
  5. At the next page, specify the DiskID or MACID, depending on the type of license you selected in the previous step, and then select Register.
    The requested software license is delivered through microchipDIRECT email.
    Attention: If you do not receive an email with your license in 15 to 30 minutes, log in again to the portal and download the license.
