1.5 Flash Memory Protection

The Configuration Words in User Configuration Ax (UCAx) and User Configuration B (UCB) Flash areas can restrict Flash operations over the entire Flash or defined memory regions. Refer to the device data sheet for a detailed description.

The NVM controller can calculate a CRC-32 checksum, even if the read operation is disabled for the Flash region, unless the CRC operation is also disabled.
