2.4 Status LED

A 3-color LED indicates the status of the Atmel AVRISP mkII. Check Troubleshooting to check for solutions if the there are any errors.

GreenIdle - With target power
OrangeBusy - Programming
Orange blinkingReversed target cable connection, or not correct pull-up on the reset line
Red blinkingShort-circuit on target
Red - Orange blinkingUpgrade mode
There is also a green LED inside the AVRISP mkII enclosure next to the USB connector. This LED indicates USB traffic.
