7.6.8 Options for Assembling

The following options control assembler operations. For more on available options, see the MPLAB^® XC16 Assembler, Linker and Utilities User’s Guide (DS50002106).

Option	Definition
`-Wa,option`	Pass `option` as an option to the assembler. If `option` contains commas, it is split into multiple options at the commas. For example, to generate an assembly list file, use `-Wa,-a`.
