3.7 Performance Issue - Application Level Issue

If KSZ8081MNX performance suffers only in the final system with end application software running, the issue is likely one of the following:

• The processor does not have enough power to handle the end application software.
• The CPU cores are not being utilized properly.
• The end application software has an optimization problem.

Strategies for dealing with end application issues vary widely depending on the operating system, processor, and software development tools. Solutions for these types of issues are outside of the scope of this document.
