6.4 Configuring the GT911 Touch Controller Input

The Goodix GT911 is the touch controller used in the Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2. It supports up to five simultaneous touch points, interfaced via I2C at address 0x5d. The driver reads touch data from register 0x814E (41 bytes for up to five points), extracting touch ID, X/Y coordinates and status. The coordinates are scaled to fit the 720x1280 display.
