4.1.3 Single-Band Dual-Input Receiver with Two Antennas
In this scenario, only one radio frequency input serves multiple RF bands (for example, 315 MHz and 433 MHz). The recommendation is to use the built-in SPDT and defining switching positions according to the services. Matching in the switched path allows impedance optimization for each path, as per the next example application.
The following figure illustrates a single-band receiver configuration where two low-band inputs, both RFIN_LB, are each connected to their own antenna (RFIN_LB + RFIN_LB + 2 x ANT).
From a configuration standpoint, the user must define each frequency band in a separate service and configure the SPDT accordingly. For more details, see Figure 4-3.
