34.9 Injection Current

Stresses beyond those listed in the table below may cause permanent damage to the device. This is a stress rating only and functional operation of the device at these or other conditions beyond those indicated in the operational sections of this specification is not implied. Exposure to absolute maximum rating conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability.

Note:
  1. Injecting current may have an effect on the accuracy of analog blocks.
  2. Conditions for Vpin: Vpin < GND-0.3V or 3.6V<Vpin≤3.9V.

    Conditions for VDD: 2.7V<VDD≤3.6V.

    If Vpin is lower than GND-0.3V, then a current limiting resistor is required. The negative DC injection current limiting resistor R is calculated as R = |(GND-0.3V – Vpin)/Iinj1|.

    If Vpin is greater than VDD+0.3V, a current limiting resistor is required. The positive DC injection current limiting resistor R is calculated as R = (Vpin-(VDD+0.3V))/Iinj1.
