4.8 Control Summary

Figure 4-2 shows a comprehensive view of the control scheme for the Phase-Shifted Full-Bridge DC-DC converter. The outer voltage loop reference is set by a soft-start mechanism, wherein the reference is incrementally ramped up. This outer voltage loop subsequently provides a current reference to the inner current loop. Each control loop is computed and executed at 100kHz on a cycle-by-cycle basis.
