3.8.1 Touch Detection

Touch is reported after confirmation scans validate touch four times in a row. These confirmation scans are executed right after user touch detection. This suppresses any possible detections generated by electrical noise or quick brushes of an object and fosters robust touch operation. Note: During
confirmation scans, only the sensors which go into detect are
measured.
The response time varies based on the number of sensors simultaneously touched. Refer to Section 6 - Example Circuit for further details. |
