8.8 BOOTROW - Boot Row

The AVR16LA14/20/28/32 devices have a special 64B memory section called the Boot Row (BOOTROW). The BOOTROW can be used for bootloader data and is erased by a chip erase.

On a locked device, this section can be accessed only when executing from the BOOT section, making it ideal for storing device-specific information for use by the bootloader. Refer to the System Memory Address Map for further details.
