Memory programming and debugging is available via Microchip Studio 7 using the tools mentioned in 2.2 Programming Hardware. The tool offers a framework to access both the Flash and EEPROM memories in a structured environment. For example, Figure 3-2 illustrates the device programming using the Atmel ICE tool.
Additionally, the software offers other features, such as developing, compiling and debugging code. Additional features, such as serial analyzer or simulation capabilities, can be loaded as a plug-in.
