2.2 Frames

Signal channels are grouped together in frames. As each frame has multiple signal channels, each signal channel is interpreted by Power Board Visualizer via its position in the frame and the frame’s Protocol ID. Messages and frames are used interchangeably in this document.

Power Board Visualizer works with two different communication protocols, UART and CAN FD.
