6.2.3.5 rlmhostid - print the hostid of this machine
Usage: rlmhostid
[[-]32|disksn|ether|gc|internet|ip|ipv6|uuid|host|user|rlmid1] [-q]
rlmhostid
prints the hostid of the
machine it is running on. If the -q
flag is specified,
the hostid is printed without any other output.
Note: If the rlmhostid command prints "(Virtual: some text)"
after the hostid, this means that the command is run on a virtual system which is not
supported for running an RLM license server. In the case of Solaris systems, license
servers can only be run on zone 0 (the "Global" zone).
