Because an ARM processor was chosen for SmartFusion cSoCs, Microchip's customers can benefit from the extensive ARM ecosystem. By building on Microchip supplied hardware abstraction layer (HAL) and drivers, third party vendors can easily port RTOS and middleware for the SmartFusion cSoC.
