1 General Description

Microchip’s VC-860A Crystal Oscillator (XO) is a quartz stabilized square wave generator with a CMOS output. The VC-860A is a fundamental oscillator resulting in very low jitter performance, and a monolithic IC which improves reliability and reduces cost. The VC-860A operates off a 1.8, 2.5, 3.3 or 5.0 volt supply in a hermetically sealed 2.0 mm × 1.6 mm ceramic package.
