1 MCP9700B – Analog Temperature Sensor

The MCP9700B BBS board (BB93Z17A) features the MCP9700B – an analog output temperature sensor that converts temperature to an analog voltage between 0V and VDD.

When used with a 12-bit ADC and a 4.096V voltage reference, the MCP9700B output resolution is 0.1 °C/bit, calculated using the following equation:
