14.3.3 Frame Check Sequence (FCS)

The Frame Check Sequence (FCS) is characterized by:

Indication of bit errors, based on a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) of length 16 bit
A use of International Telecommunication Union (ITU) CRC polynomial
Automatical evaluation during reception
Automatical generation during transmission
