4.6 Transport Control Protocol (TCP)

Packet Error Rate (PER) evaluation was conducted using TCP payload sizes of 10, 80, and 240 bytes. A 21-byte payload represents the maximum TCP payload that can be transmitted without fragmentation, while payloads larger than 21 bytes require fragmentation. This test captures the behavior of both non-fragmented and fragmented TCP transmissions in the network.
