4.6 Transport Control Protocol (TCP)
Packet Error Rate (PER) evaluation was conducted using TCP payload sizes of 10, 80, and 240 bytes. A 21-byte payload represents the maximum TCP payload that can be transmitted without fragmentation, while payloads larger than 21 bytes require fragmentation. This test captures the behavior of both non-fragmented and fragmented TCP transmissions in the network.
| TCP Payload Size (Bytes) | Hop 1 PER (%) | Hop 2 PER (%) | Hop 3 PER (%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 0.0 | 0.0 | 0.0 |
| 80 | 0.0 | 0.0 | 0.0 |
| 240 | 0.0 | 0.0 | 0.0 |
