3.4.1 Wrap-Around to the Start of the Cascade Chain
(Ask a Question)The cascade chain output of one row is connected to the cascade chain input of another row through fabric routing, with one or more pipeline registers added in the fabric to improve performance. If latency is required at the output, additional compensating registers can be added on the input side. The following figure shows an example implementation of a transpose FIR filter with the cascade chain of one row being extended to the chain of another row through pipeline registers.
