The following figure illustrates the reflow profile and its specific features are:
  • Standard Condition: IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020
  • Preheat: 150℃ to 200℃ for 60 to180 seconds
  • Average ramp-up rate (217℃ to peak): 1℃ to 2℃/sec max
  • Temperature maintained above 217℃: 60 to 150 seconds
  • Time within 5℃ of actual peak temperature: 20 to 40 seconds
  • Peak temperature: 260℃ with +5/-0℃ tolerance
  • Ramp-down rate (peak to 217℃): 3℃/sec max
  • Time within 25℃ to peak temperature: 8 minutes max
  • Cycle interval: 5 minutes
