7.2 Host MCU Interface

An external MCU controls the IS20xxS SoC using the UART command set. The following figure illustrates the UART interface between the IS20xxS SoC and an external MCU.

The MCU controls the IS20xxS SoC over the UART interface and wakes up the SoC using the PWR pin. The MCU function wakes up by connecting to the P0_0 pin of the IS20xxS.
