3.3.3.2 SAM SWD Interface

The Arm® SWD interface is a subset of the JTAG interface, making use of TCK and TMS pins. See SAM JTAG Pinout (Cortex®-M debug connector).

MPLAB ICE 4 is capable of streaming UART-format ITM trace to the host computer. For details see SAM ITM Trace.
