4.25.3 IP Subnet-Based VLAN Configuration
The IP Subnet-based VLAN Membership Configuration page has the following parameters:
- Delete: To delete a mapping, check this box and click Save. The entry will be deleted in the stack.
- IP Address: Indicates the subnet's IP address (Any of the subnet's host addresses can be also provided here, the application will convert it automatically).
- Mask Length: Indicates the subnet's mask length. Note: Mask Bits' must be an integer value between 0 and 32.
- VLAN ID: Indicates the VLAN ID the subnet will be mapped to. IP Subnet to VLAN ID is a unique matching.
- Port Members: A row of check boxes for each port is displayed for each IP subnet to VLAN ID mapping entry. To include a port in a mapping, simply check the box. To remove or exclude the port from the mapping, make sure the box is unchecked. By default, no ports are members and all boxes are unchecked.
- Add New Entry:
- To add a new IP subnet to VLAN ID mapping entry, click Add New Entry. An empty row is added to the table, and the mapping can be configured as needed. Any IP address/mask can be configured for the mapping. Legal values for the VLAN ID are 1-4095.
- To enable the IP subnet to VLAN ID mapping entry, click Save.
- To undo the addition of new mappings, click Delete button. The maximum possible IP subnet to VLAN ID mappings are limited to 128.
