40.2.2 Low-Power DAC Reference Voltage Selections

The voltage reference source for the Low-Power DAC is selected using the Low-Power DAC Reference Voltage Selection (VLPDSEL) bit. When VLPDSEL is set (VLPDSEL = 1), the DAC's reference voltage is the Low-Power Voltage Reference. When VLPDSEL is clear (VLPDSEL = 0), the reference voltage VDD.

If the reference voltage for the Low-Power DAC is below 2 volts (low-voltage operation), the system charge pump can be enabled to ensure stable voltages. The Low-Power DAC Low-Voltage Operation (VLPDOP) bit enables the system charge pump for use with the DAC. When VLPDOP is set (VLPDOP = 1), the DAC operates with the system charge pump enabled. When VLPDOP is clear (VLPDOP = 0), the DAC operates without the system charge pump.
