WPS is used to transfer the WPA/WPA2 key only; other security types are not
supported.
The WPS standard rejects the session
(WPS response fail) if the WPS button is pressed on more than one AP in the same
proximity, and the application can try again after a couple of minutes.
If no WPS button is pressed on the
AP, the WPS scan will time-out after two minutes since the initial WPS trigger.
The WPS is responsible to deliver the
connection parameters to the application, the connection procedure and the
connection parameters’ validity is the application's responsibility.
