2.1 Receiver (EEPROM and ROM Firmware)
This section describes how the receiver operates without an external host controller by using EEPROM configuration and ROM firmware.
The built-in microcontroller and ROM firmware eliminate the need for any host controller or additional device at the receiver site of the range test setup during operation. The system can automatically start the Operating mode and verify the received data, including restarting the Receive mode to handle the next message.
For this, the user must load the required configuration to the embedded EEPROM, and the ROM firmware takes care of the required tasks.
