2.1.2 Receiver Operation Flow

The following steps describe how the receiver operates during range testing:
  1. The chip wakes from OFF mode using a suitable wake source (for example, a low level on an NPWRONx pin).
  2. RX mode starts automatically with the service/channel/path defined in EEPROM.
  3. If the configured ID is received, an event line is asserted (for example, turning on a connected LED).
  4. The device switches to IDLE mode and the AVR core enters Sleep state.
  5. After approximately 2.1s, the WDT resets the system.
  6. If the wake source is still present, the cycle repeats.

With this approach, the system periodically checks for a valid message (including a notification about successful reception) and automatically restarts the cycle.
