16.2 Two-Wire Interface

Exiting programming mode is done by removing VIH from the MCLR pin, as illustrated in Figure 16-2. The only requirement for exit is that an interval, P16, must elapse between the last clock and program signals on PGECx and PGEDx pins before removing V_IH.

The following steps are required to exit Programming mode:

1. SetMode (5’b11111).
2. Assert the MCLR pin.
3. Issue a clock pulse on the PGECx pin.
4. Remove power (if the device is powered).
