8.14.9 Scanning for Devices
The user can scan for the neighboring networks using the $ scan on
command. This command displays a list of networks showing the Bluetooth address (BD_ADDR) and
name when the scan is complete.
Start the bluetoothctl using the $
bluetoothctl
command, which can be used to scan and connect.
The following is a sample when the scan is
started:
$ scan on
Scanning ...
60:6C:66:A4:29:63 D247-PC
60:03:08:89:93:E7 damiank-mbp1
