2.2.3 AC Power Cable Installation

Tools required: Wire stripper, Solid Wrench No.30 or Monkey Wrench wide than 3 cm.

Note: Use certified outdoor cable with thickness diameter of 6-10mm with 18AWG Max gauge and 300V insulation rating.
Follow the procedure to install the AC cable to the midspan unit.
  1. Insert a screwdriver, press and rotate counter-clockwise to unlock the cap. Remove the cap from the midspan unit.
  2. The connector consists of the following parts.
  3. Insert the AC cable through the parts, crimp, and screw the wire leads to 0.8 Nm torque.
  4. Push Housing into Body according to lead rails, as shown in the following figure.
  5. Insert Seal and Clamp spring into the body and tighten the Nut to 4 Nm torque.
