17.5 Boot Configuration

The boot sequence is controlled using a Boot Configuration Word (BCW) which can be located either in the fuse area or in the backup registers area (BUREG256b). The first four 32-bit backup registers can be used as a BCW. They are identified as BUREG 0, BUREG 1, BUREG 2 and BUREG 3 in the following sections.
