10.6 Permanently Locking a Device

Warning:

This action is irreversible. Ensure that the device configuration is exactly as intended before proceeding.

  1. Read the device configuration.
  2. Navigate to the Main tab.
  3. In the Chip Access section, enable the Permanently lock the device toggle.
  4. In the Permanent Lock Dialog, check the acknowledgment checkbox.
  5. Press and hold the Confirm button for five seconds.
  6. Write the configuration to the device.
