33.1.7 Configuration Flash Memory (CFM)
CFM contains eight pages dedicated to configuration. These pages have hardware imposed restrictions on their usage. They are not for code and may not be accessible after the device is protected.
The user OTP pages implements a Flash-based One Time Programmable region. It is always erase protected by hardware such that its content survives a chip erase or page erase operation. It is intended to store calibration values for external devices but is fully user defined.
The Boot Configuration pages contain boot data used by the Boot ROM to configure and boot the device. These pages can be read and write, erase protected, and/or locked.
The ROM Configuration page contains ROM options also for pre-boot usage. This page holds data and configuration that should only be erased when erasing all other pages (PFM, BFM, and user accessible CFM pages).
CalOTP contains device calibration data including the unique ID of the device and manufacturing flow data, respectively. This page cannot be written or erased.
The security module have two VSS pages (Variable Slot Storage) which are protected pages for storing security information.
The figures below illustrate the conventional names of the pages in CFM. The register bit descriptions reference these names for feature control.
