4.4.3.6.1.8 RSSPK – RSSI Peak Value

This register provides the peak RSSI value from the most recent update period. The peak calculation is done block-wise and is updated after each RSSI update period defined by the RSUP[3:0] registers. The value is updated while the RX DSP is working and the RSSI buffer is enabled in the corresponding power reduction register.

Calculate the signal power at the watched 50Ω antenna input by formula (1), see RF_PowerIN in the RSSI Measurement from Related Links.

Note: The RSSI peak and RSSI average value updates are synchronized so they can be used to compare the peak and average value for an update period.
