The interaction and command sequence are the same with serial DFU except for the extra parameters in the Enter DFU Mode command and the response of the DFU Update Request command. In the OTAPC-based device update method, before initiating the DFU command, it is mandatory to have a successful and secure Bluetooth Low Energy connection between two RNBD451 devices. As the OTAPC is an OTA update to a remote device, the DFU update request command sends an OTA request to the remote device for approval. Upon accepting the request, the firmware distribution is initiated.
