2.10.3 Simulation Considerations
(Ask a Question)Simulations ensure that the DDR and controller meet timing requirements and also ensure that the quality of the received waveform in terms of undershoot, overshoot and jitter and so on.
The following files are required for the DDR3 simulation:
- IBIS file of SmartFusion2/IGLOO2
- IBIS file of DDR3 memory
PCB files of SmartFusion2/IGLOO2 board and DIMM, if used
Connector models if DIMM is used
