4.8.2 Metrology APIs

The Metrology firmware is pre-built and is available in binary format. The Metrology binary firmware’s name is 'core1_metlib.bin' and it is located in the “...metrology/metrology_lib” folder. The Demo Meter application controls the metrology processor through the control registers. On the other data flow direction, the metrology firmware provides line voltage status, all the voltages, currents and energies with different conditions, such as fundamental and harmonics, fundamental only, harmonics only. The Demo Meter Application can even request the measurement of one specific harmonic. The metrology firmware also makes the metrology DSP data capture option available as needed. The metrology firmware architecture has flexible metering options with fully accessible DSP configuration APIs.
