1.1.3 Creating a Project

  1. Start MPLAB® X IDE and open MPLAB® Data Visualizer.

  2. Log in with your myMicrochip credentials in the MPLAB ML Data Collector tab.In some instances, users might be required to click 'Accept Cookies' to proceed.

  3. Click the Create New Project button.

  4. Users are required to provide a name for their project. For this tutorial, the project is referred to as “Slide Demo”.

  5. Connect the sensor, and the window shown below will appear, prompting the user to enter the Profile Name, Device Name, and Sample Rate. In this tutorial, the following values are used:

    1. Profile Name: 6DOF IMU
    2. Device Name: SAMD21 ML Kit
    3. Sample Rate (Hz): 100
