47.5.12.6 Mono/Stereo Audio Data (AUDMONO)

The Audio Protocol function can transmit mono audio data on both the left and right channels. When AUDMONO = 1, and in a I²S mode the register uses each FIFO location twice. This gives each channel the same mono stream of audio data. When AUDMONO = 0, the register uses each FIFO location once. This gives each channel a unique stream of data for stereo audio.

Receive data is not affected by AUDMONO.
