3.6.8.1 Introduction

These instructions describe how to update the PolarFire SoC Icicle Kit Linux image and FPGA bit stream necessary to support the SmartHLS™ SoC Features.

The instructions are a simplified version of Updating PolarFire SoC Icicle-Kit FPGA Design and Linux Image. The SmartHLS PolarFire SoC feature uses the PolarFire SoC Icicle Kit Reference Design (v2023.02) as the base project, and the Linux image for the PolarFire SoC Icicle Kit Reference Design: PolarFire SoC Yocto Board Support Package (v2023.02.1).
