3.6 Initialization
(Ask a Question)When the device powers up, some registers contained in the PCIESS are automatically initialized using data stored in the non-volatile storage of the device. The values associated with these registers are set either using flash bits or based on fixed values. Some registers are also loaded at power-up through an initialization mechanism that is programmed into devices implementing PCIESS blocks. This initialization is autonomously generated by Libero and is transparent.
