14 Console Port Connection (Optional)

The USB-C console serial port is intended to be used only during debug or troubleshooting.

To access the serial port Command Line Interface (CLI ), connect a USB cable between the switch and a PC or a terminal.

There is no need to set up baud rate, data bits, parity, or flow control in the terminal program running on the PC, as it is standard USB to USB 2.0 connection. However, in case the terminal program needs this, the COM port can be set up to run 8 data bits, 1 Stop bit, no parity, 115200 baud, and without flow control.
