13 Connecting Fiber Ports to Network Devices

The PD-IES206-AC and PD-IES206x-DCxx provides two 1000/25000Base-X SFP Ports.

Perform the following to connect the port to the network devices:

1. Insert the SFP optical transceivers into the SFP cage.
2. Use the optical fiber cable to connect the PD-IES206-AC/ PD-IES206x-DCxx SFP port to the network device on the far side. SPF Copper module can also be used instead of SFP optical transceivers. Plug the SFP Copper module into the PD-IES206-AC/ PD-IES206x-DCxx SFP cage and connect using standards Category 5/5e/6 network cables between the PD-IES206-AC/ PD-IES206x-DCxx and the network devices.
